February marks the one year milestone of our blog, not that a year is any big deal among blogs, but keeping at something for a while should be recognized in some way.
We started this blog as way for us to journal our sexual experiences, stimulating our desire and feed our exhibitionist fetish. We ended up discovering a lot more about ourselves than just a love of rope. Starting out quite naively at best, encountering new situations that were only fantasies a few months before, brought us closer together. Its not always been wine and roses, but the experience we have gained, has given us a better understanding and acceptance of each other.
We have found ourselves immersed in the culture of rope bondage in all its aspects; the sophisticated and serious to the fun predicament play. We have had the good fortune to attend a few events such as the GrUE in the ‘Lou, and Truly Bound. Making new friends with the sexy TBK and Beast , and getting to meet the awesome riggers Lew Rubens and GrayDancer were definite highlights. We ended 2010 on a educational note as we got to contribute as student bloggers for Kink Academy. The many numbers of people we have met through this blog, online and in person, have all contributed in some way to our growth. Your support is invaluable and much appreciated.
The blog has been an evolution of our character, and is still evolving. In the coming year you will see us narrow our focus. There will be more rope photography, relationship advice, social commentary, and recipes for the healthy, kinky lifestyle.
Also, over the next month Georgia and I will be at a couple of regional events. We will have some Maui Kink rope on hand that you can touch, feel, fondle, and purchase for instant gratification. We are participating in TBK’s Wild Animal fundraiser, an animal themed party, so we are going to unleash the YakAlpacaMohair beast to roam, pillage, and cause all around merriment !
